Graham was born in Manchester, England in 1961. He has been drawing for as long as he can remember but it was copying the great artists from super-hero comics like Spiderman that made him realise he had a natural gift for it.
It was after his divorce in the late 90's and with time on his hands he started to copy a couple of favourite photographs of his daughter. "I surprised myself with how good the likenesses were so I took it on from there."
He began copying faces from magazines, books and newspapers, all the while improving his technique. Then a work colleague asked him to draw her two children from a photo, the result being that many more commissions started to follow.
"The wonderful thing about pencil art is that anyone at any level can have a go and enjoy it."
We hope you enjoy Graham's work.
